There are three troops on VulpineSmile, each dedicated to a major biome. Below are summaries about each of them.

Frozen Stones:

Mainly consists of foxes that are adapted to colder, harsher environments. They live among the Corsac Mountains and eat mainly small, mountain mammals, fish, and birds, along with reptiles and various types of berries. They have thick hides and fur with a high durablity to both harsh, cold weather and battle. They have the highest death rate, as food is fairly scarce even in the warmer season, and their natural threats tend to be more dangerous than most. They are also considered to be the most beautiful of foxes, and therefore are hunted more hungrily by Fox-Skinners than the rest of the troops. Due to being adapted to such hardcore living conditions, they are known for being quite brutal in battle and even the strongest of foxes feel wary towards them. While they live closest to Sanctum Mountain, they are considered the least spiritual of the troops, leaning more on instinct than prayer, and have the highest rate of nonbelievers. Frozen Stones foxes are rumored to be more susceptible to savagery or insanity than most due to where they live and how isolated they tend to be from the other troops, though this has never been proven, and while Frozen Stones foxes are definitely more rough around the edges, they are no more barbaric than the other troops.

Storming Sands:

Mainly consists of foxes that are adapted to sandy or rocky regions, with little water and foliage available. They live among the Kit Desert and eat mainly small mammals, fish, birds, reptiles, insects, and a few plants. They have short fur and thinner skin, but are durable to harsh, hot weather and can last longer without water than the other troops. They are known to be the smallest of all the foxes, and in addition, the weakest. However, their speed is unmatched and they are excellent diggers and trackers. They have the second highest death rate, due to their extreme environment which ocassionally leaves them with little to no water during hotter seasons, though they have the least predatory threats. They are sometimes captured by Fox-Skinners and turned into Leashes (pets) due to their "cute" appearance. They are the most spiritual of the troops, known for a high gratitude for life and growth, and tend to be more passive in nature than the other two troops. They are more open to compromise and would rather flee a battle than risk injury or death. This said, however, they are also the most cautious of the troops, understanding their weaknesses, but are also easily allied with.

Twisted Trees:

Mainly consists of foxes that are adapted to forested regions with a more bountiful food supply and temperate weather system. They live among the Foxleaf Forest and eat mainly small mammals, fish, and birds, along with reptiles, amphibians, fish, and berries. They have an average fur length and a hardy hide, and are the most adaptable among the troops, able to adjust to just about any weather condition or circumstance. They are also the largest foxes among the troops, and their size gives them an advantage in battle. They have the lowest death rate, as their environment is not extreme, and their largest threats are predators and the ocassional natural disaster. Though they are not as desired as Frozen Stones foxes, they are hunted more by Fox-Skinners due to convenience. However, since Fox-Skinners only hunt during winter, their death rate is still the lowest. They are disliked to an extent by the other troops due to their "easier lives," and this makes it difficult for them to get help sometimes, and not to mention, the foxes of Twisted Trees tend to have a more outgoing and egotistical vibe about them moreso then others. However, when another troop is in need of help, Twisted Trees is usually the first troop one goes to, as they tend to be generous with their surplus of supplies, and thus leveling out their negative reputation for the most part.
